Type-2 Phaser

By the 2360s, the weapon had evolved significantly from earlier pistol-like configurations, adopting a more streamlined and ergonomic design featuring a silver-toned body, integrated emitter cowling, and advanced power regulation systems.

Designed to provide greater range, accuracy, and sustained firepower than the handheld Type-2 Phaser, phaser rifles became increasingly common aboard frontline starships and during hazardous away missions in the years leading up to and during the Dominion War.

By the 2360s, Starfleet phaser rifles had undergone extensive redesigns, becoming more compact, lightweight, and technologically sophisticated than earlier generations. Although somewhat less physically rugged than contemporary Cardassian disruptor rifles, Starfleet rifles emphasized precision, modularity, and adaptability across a broad range of tactical and engineering applications.

TR-590 Mark X Tricorder

The TR-590 Mark X Tricorder was a standard-issue Starfleet multipurpose scanning and analysis device introduced during the early 2370s as the successor to the TR-580 Tricorder VII. Compact, durable, and highly modular, the Mark X became one of the most widely deployed tricorder models in Starfleet service during the Dominion War era.

Designed to support scientific, engineering, tactical, and medical operations, the TR-590 retained the versatile functionality of earlier tricorders while incorporating substantial improvements in portability, environmental resilience, and remote data integration.

Design & Construction
